2.14.0

This release updates the PyTorch* on Intel® Hardware container image to version 2.14.0, based on Intel® OMIX 0.4.1, available for Intel CPU and XPU. This image is available on Docker Hub. If you want to build it yourself, use one of these Dockerfiles:

• CPU Dockerfile for Ubuntu 26.04

• XPU Dockerfile for Ubuntu 26.04

• CPU Dockerfile for Ubuntu 24.04

• XPU Dockerfile for Ubuntu 24.04

• CPU Dockerfile for UBI 9.8

• XPU Dockerfile for UBI 9.8

• XPU Dockerfile for UBI 10.2

Updates

• Added support for Ubuntu 26.04, UBI 9.8, and UBI 10.2.

• Updated the container’s base image to Intel® OMIX 0.4.1. The OMIX update addresses a performance regression introduced by the Intel® Graphics Compiler for OpenCL™ included in version 0.4.0.

Requirements

The PyTorch* on Intel® Hardware container was validated on host systems running Ubuntu 24.04.4, Ubuntu 26.04, RHEL 9.8, and RHEL 10.2 with the following GPUs:

• Intel® Arc™ Pro B50 Graphics

• Intel® Arc™ Pro B60 Graphics

• Intel® Arc™ Pro B65 Graphics

• Intel® Arc™ Pro B70 Graphics

This container is based on Intel® Open Middleware Xe (Intel® OMIX) 0.4.1 and includes PyTorch 2.14. For more information about this version, see the project’s Release Notes.
